Smart Stuff Learning Center is a teacher owned and operated boutique full day childcare facility. Our mission is to provide superior care while meeting the needs of individual children and families.
Smart Stuff Learning Center is dedicated to giving its clients top quality services from our experienced staff by cultivating healthy development for children.
Our programs are designed to meet the developmental needs of children by focusing on language, social and emotional development. We provide experiences that challenge and support our student’s cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical and creative development. During the course of a day, each child has the opportunity to create and explore the environment, develop personal interaction skills and learn problem-solving skills through hands-on experiences.
Smart Stuff educators are positive role models who are supportive, warm and responsive to each child. This allows our students to feel secure and enjoy themselves when they are in Smart Stuff’s care.
Smart Stuff follows age appropriate academic lessons that are designed by the educational director, who is a state certified licensed teacher. We use language arts, literature, social studies, math, science, arts-n-crafts and problem solving skills while facilitating challenging activities.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
APPROACH TO EDUCATION
At Smart Stuff Learning Center, we use a sequence of techniques to develop and engage an insightful approach to instructing Early Childhood Education. Our method includes
Themed Based Curriculum.
Theme Based Curriculum: As a structure for integrating content areas, learning around a theme is motivating and aids students in making connections, to transfer knowledge and apply it. For instance, one theme might focus on emotions where students discuss, experience, and utilize emotions in several situations throughout the day. Another theme might focus on the Ocean, and students can learn about types of water, sand, ocean creatures, waves, and the ecosystem through activities that happen in diverse contexts.
At Smart Stuff Learning center, Theme Based Curriculum allows the teachers to follow student's interests and regulate whether to extend or shorten the time spent on the theme based on the level of student interest. Another great reason to use theme-based learning is that different age groups can have a shared topic, and can be used to build a sense of community within our center.
